Ancestor Money

Ancestor money is a tool used to honor and give thanks to your ancestors. It is believed that our ancestors need money for resources in the spiritual realm and this is your way to provide them with this, as well as show your appreciation for the guidance they give you in your life. 

Directions: Before lighting your money on fire, speak to your ancestors. Thank them for their guidance and knowledge. Ask them for what you need. Burn your ancestor money(1 at a time; you can burn however many you want in one session) while stating “This is for my ancestors…known and unknown.” Make sure you are burning the money in a fire safe bowl or cauldron.
